Satisfied in Christ

History Maker (Bishop Rick)

The Creator or Narrator of events of life… Deuteronomy 29:29 (NKJV): “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to your children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Secret things.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (NKJV): “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”

Things prepared.

Hebrews 11:1,3 (NKJV): (1) “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (3) “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Substance, evidence, seen—unseen.

Genesis 14:18-20 (NKJV): “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: ‘Blessed be Abram of God Most High,
Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.’ And he gave him a tithe of all.” (The Covenant)

Mark 10:17-31 (NKJV): Jesus Counsels the Rich Young Ruler

Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, ‘Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?’ So Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. You know the commandments: “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not bear false witness,” “Do not defraud,” “Honor your father and your mother.”

(20) And he answered and said to Him, ‘Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.’

“Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, ‘One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.’ But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

With God All Things Are Possible

(23) “Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, ‘How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!’ And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! (25) It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?”

(27) But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.’ Then Peter began to say to Him, ‘See, we have left all and followed You.’

(29) So Jesus answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. (31) But many who are first will be last, and the last first.’” (The Kingdom)

Luke 14:28-30 (NKJV):  “For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it—lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’?” (Counting the Cost). Tithe demonstrates our belief in God. Offerings demonstrate our belief in God’s Word.

John 14:15 (NKJV): “If you love Me keep My commandments.”

James 2:17 (NKJV): “Then His disciples remembered that it was written, ‘Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.’”  James 2:24-25 (NKJV): “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.”  Faith without works is dead.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS, Psalm 62:5-7 (NKJV): “My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.”

Hebrews 11:6 (NASB): “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.”

Proverbs 24:14-16 (NASB): “Know that wisdom is the same for your soul; If you find it, then there will be a future, And your hope will not be cut off. Do not lie in ambush, you wicked person, against the home of the righteous; Do not destroy his resting place; For a righteous person falls seven times and rises again, But the wicked stumble in time of disaster.”

Psalm 27:13-14 (NKJV): “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”

EXPECT: To look forward to the probably occurrence or the appearance of, to consider likely or certain, reasonable or due. Synonyms: anticipate, hope, awake, foresee. Various ways of looking ahead to something in the future. Genesis 8:22 (NKJV): “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”  Sowing and Reaping, Kingdom Principles. Mark 4:26 (NKJV): “And He said, The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground…” Kingdom of God. Matthew 16:19 (NKJV): “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Keys of the Kingdom.

The Sowing of a Seed is the Beginning of All Things: Earth, Spirit, Salvation, Success. Seed is the Power to Create: Life, Influence, Destiny.

Luke 6:38 (NKJV): “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”  (Giving Principles) Will it Glorify God? Will it bless others? Will it benefit me?

Matthew 22:36-39 (NKJV): “’Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?’ Jesus said to him,‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”  (The Great Commandment). Love God, Love Self, Love Your Neighbor.

Mark 10:17-30 (NKJV): Jesus Counsels the Rich Young Ruler

“Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, ‘Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?’ So Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. (23) “Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, ‘How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!’ And the disciples were astonished at His words. Sow in Faith—it represents what I believe. Sow with Expectation—it represents what I see. Sow in Obedience—it represents whom I serve.

Genesis 15:1-21 (NKJV), Abraham Sowed Into Barrenness: God’s Covenant with Abram

“After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.’ But Abram said, ‘Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?’ (3) Then Abram said, ‘Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!’ And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, ‘This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” (5) Then He brought him outside and said, ‘Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.’ And He said to him, ‘So shall your descendants be.’ And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. Then He said to him, ‘I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.’ And he said, ‘Lord God, how shall I know that I will inherit it?’

(9) “So He said to him,  ‘Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.’ Then he brought all these to Him and cut them in two, down the middle, and placed each piece opposite the other; but he did not cut the birds in two. (11) And when the vultures came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him. (13) Then He said to Abram: ‘know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions. (15) Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age. But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”

(17) And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying: ‘To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates—(19) the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, (21) the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.’”

Genesis 26:12-13 (NKJV), Isaac Sowed In Famine: “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous.”

Psalms 126:5-6 (NKJV), The People of God Sowed in Tears: “Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.
He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.”

John 12:3 (NASB1995), Mary Sowed in Brokenness: “Mary then took a pound of very costly perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.”

Luke 21:1-4 (NLT), The Widow Sowed in Poverty: “While Jesus was in the Temple, he watched the rich people dropping their gifts in the collection box. Then a poor widow came by and dropped in two small coins. I tell you the truth,’ Jesus said, ‘this poor widow has given more than all the rest of them. For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.”

John 3:16 (KJV, NKJV), God Sowed in Love: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” IF we do the difficult, God will do the impossible. We act on what we believe and God acts on His Word.

What I am willing to sow will determine my future possibilities.

Galatians 6:7 (NKJV): “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” My Destiny is Never Found in My Past! It will only be defined by the seeds I sow for my future.

My Talent – My Time – My Energy – My Finance

I will sow where I want to go and sow where I need to grow! I am the Sum total of the Seeds I have sown. The Sowing of a Seed gives recognition to a Harvest which has not yet been revealed to the senses, but has been mandated by the law of the Kingdom.
