Securing God’s Help
Securing God’s Help
Isaiah 59:1-2 (NKJV): “Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That is cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.”
HIS HAND IS AVAILABLE TO HELP US
STEADY OUR WALK—Habakkuk 3:19 (NKJV): “The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.”
SMASH ALL OF OUR ENEMIES—Psalm 138:7 (NKJV): “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.“
SECURE OUR VICTORY—Psalm 98:1 (NKJV): “Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.”
SATISFY OUR DESIRES—Psalm 145:16 (NKJV): “You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.”
HIS EAR IS AVAILABLE TO HEAR US
WHEN WE CRY—Psalm 40:1 (NIV): “I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.”
WHEN WE PRAY—Psalm 66:19 (NIV): “…but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.”
WHEN WE PRAISE—Psalm 22:3-5 (NKJV): “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.
Our fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them. They cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.”
IN CLOSING: HIS SON IS AVAILABLE TO CLEANSE ALL THAT SEPARATES US. Isaiah 59:2 (NKJV): “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.”
