Don’t Be Afraid – You’re Going To Make It

Isaiah 43:1-3 (NLT): But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, ‘Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…’”

The Lord Wants You To Know That He Created You To Be Victorious! So Do Not Be Afraid —–> He Has Ransomed You —-> Paid The Price For Freedom. Jesus Said, “In this World You Will Have Troubles,” John 16:33: “But Be Of Good Cheer For He Has Overcome The World” —> He Is In You And That Makes You An “Overcomer.”

When You Walk Through The Fire of Oppression —> Attacks Body, Soul and Spirit. You Will Not Be Burned Up —> Your Attacks Are For Your Alignment. Peter said, “The devil prowls around looking for someone to devour,” (1 Peter 5:8). He Tells Us To Stand Firm and Be Strong In The Faith.

When You’re Going Through Rivers of Difficulty —–> Hard Times (Troubles) You Will Not Drown —-> You’re Going to Make It —> Through The Hard Times. James says, “Consider it Pure Joy…” James 1:2-4 (NLT) says: “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”

Don’t Be Afraid…Make It, p 2

When You’re Going Through Deep Waters —-> In Over Your Head. He Is With You —-> You’re Not Alone —-> Ever Present Help, Psalm 46:1 (NASB1995): “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”

Isaiah 43:10 (NLT): “’But you are my witnesses, O Israel!’ says the Lord. ‘You are my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God—there never has been, and there never will be.’”

In Closing, Isaiah 43:14-21 (NLT): “This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:

‘For your sakes I will send an army against Babylon, forcing the Babylonians to flee in those ships they are so proud of. 15 I am the Lord, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator and King. I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. 17 I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick. But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. 19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and owls, too, for giving them water in the desert.
Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed.
21 I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honor me before the whole world.’”
