Matthew 16:13-19 (NKJV): “When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, ‘Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?’ So they said, ‘Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.’ He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ Simon Peter answered and said, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.’”  

“YOU ARE PETER!!” Jesus Had To Deal With Peter. He Changed His Identity —> Under New Manage-ment. (Simon) Common, (Rock) UnCommon. Insignificant, Significant. When Christ comes into your life, it’s not to do something small. Pebbles cause little ripples, Rocks cause big ones. You’re too big to do something small.

“I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH!!” Jesus Knows How To Build His Church. There are only two types of churches: Christ’s and Someone Else’s. Dr Rodney Speaks About Merchandising and Trafficking The Anointing. The Devil Tried To Seduce Jesus, Matthew 4. Simon the Sorcerer Tried to Buy It, Acts 8:18 (NKJV): “And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money…” Any church that teaches things that go against Jesus’ Teaching Is not His Church, but Merchandisers’ church. These are the people the Apostles warned us about: False Teachers.

False Religions, “Twisted Scripture.” Church = “Ekklesia”: Out of the Called, Believers’ Gathering.

“Ek” – From, “Kaleo” – To Call, “Klesia” – The Called. The Church Isn’t A Building. It’s what’s in it that makes a Church.

ALL THE POWERS OF HELL WILL NOT CONQUER IT (An Unstoppable Movement). Colossians 2:13-15: 

“You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.”  

I WILL GIVE YOU THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. It’s not Keys “To The” Kingdom —-> It’s Keys “Of The” Kingdom. Colossians 1:13-14 (NLT): “For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.”  Luke 12:29-32 (NKJV): “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
