Where Do We Grow From Here?

Matthew 9:35-38 (NASB 1995): “Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.'”

Insight:

3 Things To Note Here:

The Harvest Is Plentiful

The Laborers Are Few

We Should Beseech The Lord of the Harvest…

Beseech: Ask (Someone) Urgently and Fervently To Do Something..

To Send Out Workers Into “His” Harvest.

I Believe – Everything We Do Should Help In His Harvest

I Believe – Growth is a “God” Thing, Not Just a “Good” Thing

I Believe – We should “Set Aside Some of Our” Time, Treasures and Talents for “His Harvest”

The Harvest is Plentiful…. So Where Do We Grow From Here?

We are going to grow getting “Tougher” in our Resolve. Matthew 5:13 (): “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.”

We are going to grow by becoming “Stronger” in our Faith. Isaiah 40:31 ():  “But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength…” Philippians 4:13 (NASB 1995): “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

We are going to grow by Shining “Brighter” for the Lord. Matthew 5:14: 14-16 (): “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

In Closing:

So I Encourage You To:

Get Tougher

Toughen Up and Begin To Live Courageously in Faith

Become Stronger

Strengthen Your Faith and Take The 20/20 Challenge

Shine Brighter

Shine your light so the world can see
