Be Ye Filled

Ephesians 5:15-20 (NLT): “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Be Careful How You Live: Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.
There Should Be A Spirit of Wisdom About Us. Don’t live like the pagans do in the futility of their thinking, for they are hopelessly confused: “With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused,” Ephesians 4:17 (NLT). “For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Carefully determine what pleases the Lord,” Eph 5:8-10
Make the Most of Every Opportunity, For the days are evil.
“There Should Be A Spirit of Excellence About Us. “Let all things be done decently and in order,”
1 Corinthians 14:40 (NKJV).
Don’t Act Thoughtlessly, But understand what the Lord wants you to do.
There Should Be A Spriit of Intentionality About Us. We might live in this world but we are not of it.
I refuse to be common.
“Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing unto the Lord, your reasonable act,” Romans 12:1.
Don’t Be Drunk with Wine, Because it will ruin your life.
There Should Be A Spirit of Holiness About Us. “Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols,” Psalm 24:3-4 (NLT).
The Answer To All of Life’s Problems Is This: Be Filled With The Holy Spirit.
When You are Filled you are able to able to withstand the weights of this life.
You’ll be able to withstand the weight of criticism
You are who God says you are, not who others think you are! “He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Him,” Isaiah 26:3
You’ll be able to withstand the weight of opposition
“If God be for me who can be against me,” Romans 8:31 (NKJV). “No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you,” Joshua 1:5 (NLT).
You’ll be able to withstand the weight of rejection
You belong to the family of God. “He will never leave you nor forsake you,” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV).
Those who do the will of God are the children of God. “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners
and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household,” Ephesians 3:18-19 (NIV).
You’ll be able to withstand the weight of depression.
