What Do You See?

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NLT): “For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be… seen”
Perspective is the lens through which we interpret life. Two people can face the same storm and face defeat vs. destiny or obstacles vs. opportunity. The Enemy wants to Distort your Vision, God wants to Clarify it. Clarity Matters.
Your Perspective Can Lift You Above Your Problems. Colossians 3:1-2 (NLT):
What you focus on in life determines what forms in your life“… set your sights on the realities of heaven… Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.” Elevated thinking leads to elevated living.
Overcomers don’t ignore reality, They change their realities. Eagles rise above the storms.
Your Perspective Determines Your Peace. Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV): “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You…”
Your peace is not tied to situations; it’s tied to your focus. When your eyes are on Christ, chaos may surround you, but it won’t get in you. Peace is a fruit of perspective before it becomes a feeling in your heart. Peter walked on water as long as his eyes were on Jesus.
Your Perspective Can Position You for Victory, Romans 8:37 (NLT): “No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ…” Victorious people see things differently, what you think is what you get.
David didn’t just fight Goliath, he saw Goliath as a pathway: Not a Problem but a Promotion.
Your perspective determines whether you run toward your giant or away from it.
David didn’t see a giant too big to fight, but a target too big to miss.
Refocus Daily with The Word, Psalm 119:105 (NLT): “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet…”
Replace Negative Thoughts with Faith Declarations, 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NASB1995): “…take every thought captive…”
Remember God’s Faithfulness, Psalm 77:11 (NIV): “I will remember the deeds of the Lord…”
