Romans 4:20-25 (NLT): “Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous. 23 And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.” 

Christ Died To Make Us Right With God Through Faith. Faith Is An “Unshakable Trust” In God’s Word. That Unshakable Trust In God’s Word Makes Us Righteous. Righteousness Is Right Standing With God: The State of Him Who Is As He Ought To Be! Righteousness Isn’t Something to Achieve: It is Something to Receive, Imputed. We Are Not Sinners Trying To Be Righteous. We Are the Righteous Trying Not To Sin. We Are The Righteousness of God, 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB 1995): “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 

“Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.” Proverbs 11:4 (NIVUK). “

“The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.” Psalm 34:19 

“The seed of the righteous shall be delivered.” Proverbs 11:21 (KJV).

“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.“ 1 Peter 3:12 (BRG).

“I have been young, and now I am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Or his descendents begging bread.” Psalm 37:25

“The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever.” Psalm 37:29

“Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.” Isaiah 3:10

“The lips of the righteous know what finds favor.” Proverbs 10:3
