How To Handle Trials, Troubles & Tribulation

• 1 Peter 4:12-13  (ESV) – Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial (when) it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.

3 Keys To Overcoming Trouble

1. Rejoice – Be Glad – Enjoy It (lol)

1. 1. Why? – The Amount of Trouble you overcome will be the same amount of blessing that will overcome you.
   2. 1 Peter 4:13 – But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.

1. Remember, You’re Not Alone

1. 1. Isaiah 43:2-3 (ESV) – When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

1. Rely Upon the Lord

1. 1. Proverbs 3:5-8 (ESV) – Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

Psalm 34:15-19 (ESV) – The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
