He’s My Rock
He’s My Rock
In a world full of trials and troubles, there is a place where you won’t be shaken, a place where no enemy can reach you—and it’s a place of great refuge.
Psalm 62:5-8 (NLT): “Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. 7 My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.” Interlude
What do you do in your day of trouble? Most in the day of trouble “Fill” themselves with fear and anxiety. Most in the day of their trouble “Magnify” the troubles. Most in the day of their trouble “Curse” God as if he caused it. Most in the day of their trouble “Seek” refuge and help from others.
In Your Day of Trouble Please Remember To:
Build Yourselves Up In Faith & You’ll Never Be Full of Fear and Anxieties
Jude 1:20-21 (NLT): “But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.” Psalm 34:4-7 (NLT): “I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.
Magnify the Lord and You’ll Minimize Your Troubles
Psalm 34:3-4 (NKJV): “Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”
Bless The Lord With Your Lips Because Your Enemies Already Stand Cursed
Psalm 10:14 (NIV): “But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.” Psalm 34:1 (NKJV): “I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
Seek The Lord Wholeheartedly and The Lord Will End Your Captivity
Jeremiah 29:12-14 (NLT): “In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. ‘I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.’”
Closing:
Psalm 62:5-8 (NLT): “Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.”
