Possessing A Victorious Mindset

Romans 8:35-37 (NLT): "Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, 'For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.') No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us."

Joshua 1:6-11 (NLT): "Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

"Joshua then commanded the officers of Israel, 'Go through the camp and tell the people to get their provisions ready. In three days you will cross the Jordan River and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you.'"

Carry A Settled Doctrine of Victory, (Who and Whose). Remember: If You Have A Word You Have A Way. God Is Smarter, Bigger and Stronger Than Any Enemy. God Loves You, Will Lead You and He Lives in You. Jesus Came To Destroy the Works of the Enemy, 1 John 3:8 (NASB 1995): "…the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil."

Jesus' Enemy Destroying Power Is In Us, John 17:23 (NLT): "I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me."

Jesus Has Given Us The Victory, 1 Cor. 15:57 (NLT): "…but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Obtain A Good Understanding Of The Calling (What).  Joshua Was to Be Strong and Courageous.

BE: Full of the Holy Spirit and Strong in Faith. Joshua Was to Be Careful and Obey Moses's Instructions. BE: Obedient to Leadership. Joshua Was to Be A Student of the Word.

BE: Reachable and  Teachable

Take Actions On The Instructions You Have Been Given (How).  Joshua Commanded The Officers To Go Through the Camp and Get Things Ready. Joshua Decreed: In 3 Days You're Going To Cross The Jordan and Take Possession of the Land.

Be Passionate About The Ministry and Your Calling, (You and the Church). Be Real, Run Hard and Work Hard. Maintain Zealous Spirit. Romans 12:9-11 (NLT): "Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically."

Refuse to Blame, Defame or Complain About Others. Philippians 2:14-15 (NLT): "Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people."

Understand There Will Always Be Opposition. There will always be something to overcome to be an overcomers, John 16:33: "In this world you will have troubles. Be of Good cheer for I have overcome the world."

Resist The Fear and Refuse Discouragement. Proverbs 11:25: "he who refreshes will be refreshed."
