How To Strengthen Your Connection To God (The Father)
Desire To Know Him, Psalm 73:25 (NLT): “Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth.” Strong Christians Carry Strong Desires for the Things of God.
Delight Yourself In Him, Psalm 27:4 (NLT): “The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.” David had a desire to know him and to spend the rest of his life with him!
David had such a love for God that he was delighted in all the beauty of the Lord. Delighting means to take great pleasure In. He took great pleasure in all the benefits and promises the Lord God had made!
Diligently Seek Him Out, Hebrews 11:6 (NLT): “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”
