Let Freedom Reign

One of the greatest blessings of living in the greatest country is our “Freedoms:” Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of the Press, Right to Peacefully Assemble, Right to Petition, Right to Bear Arms, Due Process and Fair Trial. These are just some of the great blessings of being a part of this great country. I am grateful for them. Aren’t You? Let’s take a moment and thank the Lord. We must be willing to protect them for ourselves and others at all costs. We have them because our forefathers have established and paid for them. I’ll be Candid: the Greatest Threat to our Freedoms isn’t an Enemy–it’s Ignorance. Your level of operation can only be at the level of your understanding.

Effectiveness is Birthed in Understanding, Proverbs 4:7 (NIV): The beginning of wisdom is this: Get [a] wisdom. Though it cost all you have, [b] get understanding.  Though it costs, get it! If you don’t know you’re free, you’ll never be truly free.

Galatians 5:1 (NIV): “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

Many people are saved but not free. They love God but still live bound. Jesus didn’t die just to forgive you–He died to free you. Freedom is Not a Feeling–Freedom is a Position.

Freedom From The Power of Sin. Romans 6:14 (NLT): “Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.”

Romans 8:2 (NLT): “…because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.” Sin may still exist, it is just no longer in charge.

What used to control you, no longer owns you. You are not fighting for freedom you are fighting from freedom.

Freedom From Bondage and Fear. Psalm 34:4 (NKJV): ”I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.” He is a deliverer, John 8:36 (NASB 1995): So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” He who the son sets free is free indeed. Stop being afraid of what you have dominion over. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV): “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” The enemy can’t kill you or take your salvation. So he sends the spirit of fear to attack your mind and your freedoms!

Freedom From Your Old Life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV): “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Freedom is not just what God has brought you out of. Freedom is about what God is bringing you into. Romans 8:1 (NLT): “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.” These scriptures are not permission slips for your past. These scriptures are to move you into your future.

To Close:

Stop Agreeing With Unbiblical Talk. John 8:32 (NLT): “…and the truth will set you free.”

Fill Your Life With The Spirit, Not The Past. 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NIV): “…where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is freedom.”

Walk In Your Freedoms, Not Your Feelings. Galatians 5:1 (NIV): “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Don’t Burden Yourself With Slavery.
