Victory is Mine

“Victory Is Mine”

August 9, 2026

Romans 8:34, 27 (NLT): “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?”

Romans 8:36-37 (NLT): “(As the Scriptures say, ‘For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.’) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”

There is a lot happening right now in the World. We are in the midst of a battle. The battle isn’t Red vs. Blue or This Ideology vs. That Ideology BUT Good vs. Evil. Even in a world full of trials, troubles and tribulations the child of God emerges (victorious). Troubles are simply testing grounds for the victorious. This is only a test, I repeat. Victory isn’t something you “strive for,” it is something that you “thrive from.”

Settle the Doctrine of Victory in your Heart (Who and Whose). Remember: If You Have A Word You Have A Way. God Is Smarter, Bigger and Stronger Than Any Enemy or Obstacle You’ll Ever Face. God Loves You, Will Lead You and He Lives in You and Will Work Through You. Jesus Came To Destroy the Works of the Enemy, 1 John 3:8 (NASB 1995): “…the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.” The Spirit of Power and Might Is Within Us, John 17:23 (NLT): “I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.”

Jesus Gives Us The Victory, 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NASB 1995): “…but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Understand the Mechanics of the Calling (What), Joshua 1. Joshua Was to Be Strong and Courageous, Full of the Holy Spirit and Strong in Faith. Joshua Was to Be Careful and Obey Moses’s Instructions, Obedient to Leadership. Ephesians 4:11 (NASB 1995): “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers.” You’ll never increase outside of God’s framework. Joshua Was to Be A Student of the Word, Reachable and Teachable.

Take Action On The Instructions You Receive (How). Joshua Commanded The Officers To Go Through the Camp and Get Things Ready. Joshua Decreed: “In Three Days We Are Going To Cross The Jordan and Take Possession of the Land.” Joshua 1:11 (NLT).

Be Passionate About The Church and The Calling (You and The Church). Maintain Zealous Spirit! Don’t Be Lazy, Don’t Stop Serving!!! Romans 12:11 (NIV): “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”

Refuse to Blame, Defame or Complain About Others (Results). Philippians 2:14-15 (NLT): “Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.” “Be Aware”: There Will Always Be Opposition. There will always be something to overcome to be an overcomers, John 16:33 (NKJV): “In the world you will have tribulation, But be of Good cheer for I have overcome the world.”

Resist The Fear and Refuse Discouragement, Proverbs 11:25 (NLT): “those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.”
