Flourish 2023

Psalm 92:12-15 (NKJV): “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.”

“The Righteous Shall Flourish Like a Palm Tree and Grow Like A Cedar in Lebanon.”

Flourish = To grow healthy, luxuriantly – to thrive – to be in a state of production. Parah (hb) = To Bud, Sprout or Bloom. Palm Tree = Strong, Tall and Durable. Deep Rooted and Can Withstand Unfavorable and Extremely Turbulent Scenarios. Cedar in Lebanon = Fragrant, Long Branched, Stately – Mentioned Often in Scripture, Used for Ceilings, Pillars, Masts –Unique for Carving.

To Flourish One Must Be Firmly Planted (In House of the Lord). Psalm 92:13 (NKJV): “Those who are planted in the house of the LORD, Shall flourish in the courts of our God.” In order to be planted, you must have roots in the ground. You have to make up your mind: fail or flourish? When you drop root is when you will start bearing fruit. Proverbs 12:12 (NLT): “Thieves are jealous of each other’s loot, but the godly are well rooted and bear their own fruit.” 2 Kings 19:30 (ESV): “And the surviving remnant of the house of Judah shall again take root downward and bear fruit upward.”

You Shall Flourish (In Every Realm of Life). Psalm 92:14 (NKJV): “They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing.” Proverbs 14:11 (NKJV): “The house of the wicked will be overthrown, But the tent of the upright will flourish.”

Isaiah 17:11 (KJV): “In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish; but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.”

In Closing, Ezekiel 17:22-24 (NLT): “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take a branch from the top of a tall cedar, and I will plant it on the top of Israel’s highest mountain. It will become a majestic cedar, sending forth its branches and producing seed. Birds of every sort will nest in it, finding shelter in the shade of its branches. And all the trees will know that it is I, the Lord, who cuts the tall tree down and makes the short tree grow tall. It is I who makes the green tree wither and gives the dead tree new life. I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do what I said!”

Only The Righteous Shall Flourish In the Courts of Our God. Righteous (Sadiya) = To Be Just; Right Standing With God. Sin Separates Us From God—There Is No Unrighteousness In Him.
