Stepping Into His Presence

Ephesians 3:12 (NLT): “Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.”

We Are Stepping Into His Presence This Morning. BOLDLY = Freely, Unhindered, Unafraid —> Willing To Take a Risk. CONFIDENTLY = Unstoppable, Unencumbered, and Unashamed —> Void of Any Doubt

WE ARE STEPPING INTO UNLIMITED RESOURCES AND INNER STRENGTH. Ephesians 3:14-16 (NLT): “When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.” THE LORD ISN’T LIMITED IN RESOURCES. Psalm 24:1 (NLT): “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.”  THE LORD ISN’T STINGY WITH THE RESOURCES EITHER. 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT): “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty leftover to share with others.” A LIFE OF INNER STRENGTH IS A LIFE AT PEACE WITH GOD. Romans 5:1-2 (NLT): “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.”  Job 22:21 (NLT):  “Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you.”

WE ARE STEPPING INTO GOD’S LOVE AND THE POWER OF UNDERSTANDING. Ephesians 3:17-18 (NLT): “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.“  WHEN WE LEARN HOW TO LOVE, WE WILL LEARN HOW TO LIVE. “Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”  Ephesians 5:1-2 (NLT): “Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us[a] and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.”

WE ARE STEPPING INTO COMPLETENESS AND FULLNESS OF LIFE. Ephesians 3:19 (NLT): “May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made com-plete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” YOU ARE COMPLETE IN CHRIST—YOU LACK NOTHING. Colossians 2:9-10 (NLT): “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.”

WE ARE STEPPING INTO HIS MIGHTY POWER. Ephesians 3:20-21 (NLT): “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.”
