What is trusted will be tested

Genesis 22:1-8 (NKJV): Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, ‘Abraham!’ And he said, ‘Here I am.’ 2 Then He said, ‘Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.’

3 So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off.

5 And Abraham said to his young men, ‘Stay here with the donkey; the [a] lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.’ So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. 7 But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, ‘My father!’ And he said, ‘Here I am, my son.’ Then he said, ‘Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the [b] lamb for a burnt offering?’

And Abraham said, ‘My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.’ So the two of them went together.”

God will test you to see if He can trust you—Whatever has been trusted will be tested!

The WHO Test: “Take Now Your Son.”  Who you are With is important to Where you’ll go and What you’ll do.

The WHERE Test: “Go To The Land of Moria.” ‘Where’ is just as important as the Who or the What test; The Place “Jehovah Jireh.”

The WHAT Test: “Offer Isaac there as a burnt offering.”  Did Abraham start to Love The Promise More Than The Promise Giver?

The WHEN Test: “So Abraham Rose Early In The Morning.”

The VISION Test: “On The Third Day Abraham Lifted Up His Eyes and Saw The Place Afar”

The FAITH Test: “The Lad and I Will Go Yonder and Worship and We Will Come Back To You.” Faith Without Action Is Dead, James 2:17.

The OBEDIENCE TEST: “Abraham Took The Wood And Laid It Upon Isaac and Carried The Fire.” We Must Be Informed, Intentional, Immediate and Impassioned.

1 Peter 1:6-9 (NKJV): In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been [a]grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not [b] seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of  your souls.
